Classifiedz is an online classified advertising platform. Users can register an account, publish adverts, browse listings and contact other users. By using the Site you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site.

Profile details – any name, photo, phone number, location or description you choose to add.

IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type and version, operating system and device type.
Pages viewed, adverts viewed, referring page, search terms used on the Site, and the date and time of each visit.

Adverts are public by design. Any phone number, email address or location you place inside an advert can be seen and copied by anyone, including automated systems. Please only publish contact details you are willing to make public, and do not include personal information about anyone else.

8. Data Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to prevent re-registration by banned users and to resolve disputes.
Adverts are kept while they are live and for a period after expiry so they can be renewed, after which they may be deleted.
Server and security logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Request deletion of your account and personal information.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

No method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
